Criteria for Artists & Artworks
Main Entry Details:
(1) There is no restriction on the artist regarding age, training or nationality. You may enter from any country, and can be based in any country.
(2) All types of art are accepted for this competition.
(3) The artist must not have exclusive representation, to enter this art competition.
(4) Artwork size must be less than 275cm x 275cm x 50cm for artworks to be hung on the wall, and less than 275cm x 275cm x 200cm for sculptures. If you are unsure, please contact us. Image files should ideally by at least 2000 x 2000 pixels in size (we don't look at dpi) , and the file size should be under 20Mb.
(5) Once you have completed the online entry form, you will be sent to the payment page to pay the entry fee. Please select the correct payment option and enter your name in the notes.
(6) Entry Fee is £20 for first artwork, then £10 per additional artwork, up to a maximum 5 artworks. You can also pay in US Dollars and Euros too. If you wish to pay in any other currency, please contact us.

David is Senior Consulting Curator at the Clyfford Still Museum, Denver, and Director of its Research Center. Based in London, Anfam’s many books and catalogues over the past forty years include studies of Jackson Pollock, Edward Kienholz, Howard Hodgkin, Wayne Thiebaud, Brice Marden, Jeff Elrod, Anish Kapoor and Mark Rothko: The Works on Canvas – A Catalogue Raisonné (Yale University Press, 1998), which received the 2000 Mitchell Prize for the History Art.

Josh McNorton is a creative producer, festival director, arts programmer and curator. Josh grew up in Canada and moved to the UK in 2012 to produce a large-scale, outdoor entertainment programme for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. From 2014 to 2016 Josh produced FutureFest, a festival in London about the future, for the UK innovation charity Nesta. Following FutureFest, Josh co-founded the world’s first festival of sensory arts and research, Open Senses, which debuted in London in May 2017. Josh was formerly the Head of Programmes at Rich Mix, East London’s independent arts centre, overseeing the delivery of 400 shows and events per year.

There is also a multitude of flexible performance spaces where we work with both emerging and established artists, and support them to deliver and develop their artistic practice.
Our aim is to be a place where the communities of the world, who are the citizens of East London and beyond, can come together to experience and make world class art and feel that it’s a place where they belong.
